About ReStream
Welcome to ReStream.me,
I created ReStream as a way for people to easily find the best content shared on Twitter. Everyone knows that Twitter is a great communications platform but what's often overlooked is how great it is for discovering new content. I use to browse hundreds of RSS feeds for interesting content until I found that Twitter did a better job of alerting me to what was worth my time.
Twitter works better than RSS because the information comes to you from the people you choose to follow. You can assign trust and importance to a link based on who is sharing it and the number of times you've seen the same information share amongst the people you follow.
The people you follow act as a trusted filter but there's still one problem. It's nearly impossible to keep up with the river of information coming from Twitter. Even if you follow less than one hundred people, you'd need to be constantly be connected to keep up with all the new information.
This is why I built ReStream. It helps you filter the firehouse.
ReStream, uses Twitter lists, tags, your Twitter favorites, and a ReStream feature called FavMe to recommend news, articles, and blog posts that match your interests. ReStream let's you walk away from Twitter and be confident that you can come back at any time without missing anything. Recommended content is always there for you and you can browse topics and lists for other information as well as search for new people to follow based on their tags.
The only thing you need to get started is a Twitter account. You don't need to follow anyone. Just sign in and tell us what your favorite topics are. ReStream will do the rest.
If you have any questions or feedback please email them. I'll answer them as soon as possible.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerly,
Chris Wills
